These are just a few web pages from chess clubs in the United States. One community, one university, one high school, and one middle school. Much more complete lists are available elsewhere on the Web, including lists at U.S.Chess and Chess Notes and lists at the following sites.
University of Pittsburgh Chess Club This site includes the Pitt Chess Archives, an ftp site with games collections, conversion utilities, and other chess materials, including many graphics.
Hunstville Chess Club This site includes The Chess Archives, with a beginners page, move-by-move explanations, an openings library, a graphics utility, and more.
Lanier Middle School Chess Team This is a fun site put together by the chess team at Lanier Middle School in Houston, Texas. (The Lanier team has been Texas State Champion four of the last five years!) The site includes the history of the team, the list of coaches, suggestions for starting a team, an upcoming tournament list, a list of resources, and links to their favorite chess pages.
Bellaire Senior High School Chess Club Another Texas school team, this one a high school. This team has come in 5th in the National High School competition for the last three years. Their site includes upcoming events, past results, lists of top ranked Texas scholastic players, club news and a few Texas-based links.
